Event Summary:


The Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas, a statewide Latina organization with nine chapters across Texas, is hosting its 2009 Education and Leadership Training Conference on October 23-24, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, in Austin, Texas.


Anticipating over 250 conference attendees, Latinas from all over the state will come together for two days of workshops and training sessions. Embracing its mission to promote the advancement of Hispanic women in the public, corporate and civic life, HWNT will be providing training sessions in the areas of financial literacy, health, professional development, social media and fundraising.


In addition, the conference will also be hosting a Latina Trailblazer Reception honoring Texas Secretary of State, Esperanza “Hope” Andrade and a Leadership Luncheon recognizing HWNT Estrella Award Recipients.
