The Women Business Owners non-profit corporation is proud to announce the newest addition to their staff. Laura Wheeler is our Technical Coordinator.

Laura is the President and CEO of Firelight Business Enterprises, Inc.

She is a mom to eight children, and a homeschooler. She and her husband have been married nearly 25 years, and are still happily enjoying their life together. They reside in the Wilds of Wyoming, and work together from their home (they are planning to expand their business beyond their home soon).

Laura has extensive web design, web writing, and web marketing experience. She is a respected home business startup consultant, and speaks out against home business scams and near-scams. Her technical experience in web business related items is unique in the web world. Her clients appreciate that when she takes a job, her experience is extensive enough to guide them through all of the issues related to owning a website, and not just a single facet.

Firelight Business Enterprises consists of two divisions - Firelight Web Studio, which provides Microbusiness web design services that include comprehensive assistance in a way that is uncommon in the web world, and Western Hills Institute for MicroBusiness Service Provider Training, where microbusiness service providers are trained to provide high value services at a low dollar rate, and still make a healthy profit. The motto for their services is, “Your business should make money.” They are committed to helping businesses profit, and not just to providing services to get a contract, and they apply this motto in both the web services, and the training courses which they provide.

Women Business Owners is a global non-profit corporation, founded in February 2004 with a home office in Humble, Texas. Our group was created with the goal of education and support for women business owners throughout the world with online resources, networking and referrals.
